5 Go-To Chicken Meal Prep Ideas

February 2, 2021

Let’s be real. The chicken prep recipes floating around on the interwebs are hit or miss. Chicken can end up overcooked and flavorless with just a few wrong moves. Which is why I figured I’d share a few of my favorite chicken prep ideas that are not only easy but super delicious. Read on for some recipes you’ll want to add to your weekly rotation.

1. Great Chicken Thigh Recipe

Nom Nom Paleo Cracklin’ Chicken

One of Michelle’s most popular recipes, and you’ll see why as soon as you make it. It’s so easy with only three ingredients (including the chicken), and the chicken thighs in this recipe come out so delicious and flavorful. Move over fried chicken! I love pairing cracklin’ chicken with a colorful salad or some mixed veggies for an easy weeknight meal with leftovers.

2. Delicious Chicken Breast Recipe

Danielle Walker’s Paleo Pad See Ew

This recipe is SO easy, and it’s one of my favorites. It’s also gotten high praise from anyone I’ve ever recommended it to (just saying). With only a few ingredients, the coconut aminos take this dish over the top. And since it’s a complete meal, you can just heat and eat for a quick weeknight meal.

3. Whole Roast Chicken

Defined Dish

As I’ve said before, you cannot go wrong with any of Alex’s recipes. This is no exception! You can prep this whole chicken for a family dinner or you can give yourself leftovers so that you can enjoy it throughout the week!

4. Any Cut of Chicken

Super Easy Buffalo Chicken

This recipe is one of my own! Not only is it a super easy chicken prep recipe, but it’s also a great way to ensure that you have a healthy protein option in the fridge when hunger strikes. I love using something like this buffalo chicken or Alex’s whole roasted chicken as part of a component meal prep. I’ll then keep veggies and spices on hand to make easy mix-and-match meals all week.

5. Chicken Tenders with Turnip Mash

I couldn’t leave you with a list of recipes and not mention leaving your prep to us. We have so many fantastic chicken recipes, no cooking or cleaning required. I’ve linked to one of my favorites, our chicken tenders with turnip mash. Buying ready-made chicken tenders beat the work that goes into homemade grain-free tenders. Just take my word for it!

Whether you’re completing a Whole30, eating a keto diet, or just want to eat healthier, these chicken prep ideas have you covered. Your future self will thank you for cooking up (or just ordering!) some delicious options to have in the fridge.

I am so impressed with your web site and how it allows a potential customer to be well-informed about this specialty food service you offer.

How practical is it for only one person to use your services? Do you offer any discounts for one person only wanting 5 dinners a week, or some other incentive for me to consider your food Service? I am very impressed with what I see. I would definitely pick up my meals at a location near me in Houston. Is it necessarily cheaper to pick up than to have the food delivered to me?

I look forward to your response.

    Sincerely,

    Carolyn

P.S. I am particularly impressed that all of your meals are gluten-free too!

Thank you for your comment Carolyn! Our meals are individual portions, so they are perfect for one person. If you order for shipping, our meals come in boxes of 6 or 12. If you are near our Houston store, you can also go pick-up there and choose meals ala carte. We don’t offer any retail discounts, but are currently offering a discount for shipped meals. You can use the code ‘HEALTHY40’ for $40 off your first 4 weeks.
