Which Foods Will Help with Your Vitamin C Intake?

It’s important to get a healthy mix of all vitamins and minerals…but do you know why? Today we are highlighting the mighty vitamin C and why you should be incorporating it into your everyday diet.

Why vitamin C is important

There are a lot of important functions associated with vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid. Some of these include:

Adequate vitamin C intake is also a great way to protect against some of the following:

  • Common Cold: When you eat fruits and vegetables full of vitamin C, you have a better chance of fighting the common cold than when using just vitamin C supplements
