Healthy for the Holidays

November 15, 2023

Chef Lorena has taken your favorite classic seasonal dishes and given them a healthy Snap twist. People often don’t realize that one of the best ways to quiet sugar and carb cravings (and balance blood sugar!) is to eat enough protein. We’ve designed these holiday favorites to be high in protein and balanced in carbs and fat, all while making sure they taste amazing.

These new cozy dishes will keep you feeling light and energetic for all of your upcoming holiday festivities. But they’re only on the menu for a limited time, so make sure you try them while they’re still here!

Herb-Roasted Turkey with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

No dry turkey here! Ours is marinated for 24 hours, then seared in ghee for a juicy inside and a crunchy, caramelized crust. And our gravy, made with caramelized onions and coconut aminos for a rich, deep flavor, is a more balanced take on the traditional Thanksgiving version that’s made with pan drippings.

Creamy Chicken Stew with Rice

Chef Lorena’s favorite dish right now. It truly tastes like winter in a bowl. Our cozy and comforting chicken stew features all of the classics: chicken, carrots, onions and celery, but gets a few flavorful twists with our creamy coconut milk broth and rice. Just like grandma used to make, only healthier!

Pumpkin Alfredo with Sage Chicken Sausage

This seasonal favorite returns for another year! The creamy sauce coats the gluten-free spaghetti pasta perfectly, and the walnut crumble adds a delicious, buttery flavor to the whole dish.

Pumpkin Pancakes with Maple Butter and Breakfast Sausage

This fall-flavored breakfast features our pumpkin pie-spiced paleo pancakes topped with house-made maple-cinnamon butter and served alongside a juicy pork breakfast patty. The maple butter is akin to salted caramel – once you try it you’ll see what we mean!
