All About our New Large Meals

We’re so excited to welcome larges back to the menu! To kick things off, we’re launching five meals, including four larger versions of existing menu items. Read on to hear more about what went into making this new set of larges, and more about the meals themselves. 

Why larges?

We know that for some of you, our regular-sized meals aren’t always enough food to hit your goals, whether you’re spending extra time at the gym, pregnant or breastfeeding, or just looking to eat very high protein. Our large meals range from 570-830 calories, and the entire lineup is high protein. More on our guidelines below!

Standards and guidelines 

Our larges were developed by Chef Lorena and our in-house RD to meet a strict set of guidelines that ensure the meals are a category all their own, perfect for your pre or post-workout meal. But the best part? Like all Snap meals, they are absolutely delicious.

Protein

All but two of the meals in the new lineup have over 50g of protein, and no large will ever contain less than 35-40g of protein. 

Fat

We aim for 30g of fat or less in each meal, but depending on the portion size and amount of protein, a meal may go up to 40g of fat. 

Carbohydrates

Our larges will always typically be between 45-60g of carbs

Calories

The meals will always contain 550+ calories, though most meals fall in the 600-700 calorie range. 

The new offerings

Burger Bowl with Dill Relish

The burger bowl you love, made athlete-friendly with extra calories, protein, and carbohydrates. A blend of ground beef and bison on a bed of creamy rice with all your favorite burger toppings including grape tomatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, and our house-made dill pickle relish.

Bison Quinoa Bowl with Peppers & Onions

A favorite of Snap Kitchen regulars is now available in a larger size! This hearty bowl is made better for you with a base of whole grains, and bison, then topped with cheddar.

Chicken Kabob Bowl with Saffron Rice

Our take on the classic chicken kabob, now in a larger size. House marinated then grilled chicken is served on a bed of saffron rice and fresh grilled veggies, then paired with our dill cream sauce.

Creamy Chicken Stew with Rice

Our cozy and comforting chicken stew, now in a larger size. This dish features all of the classics: chicken, carrots, onions and celery, but gets a few flavorful twists with our creamy coconut milk broth and rice. Just like grandma used to make, only healthier!

Chicken Carnitas Bowl

Our flavorful chicken carnitas sit atop a bed of cilantro lime rice, smoky sweet potatoes, and our customer favorite creamy chipotle corn. Paired with house-made red onion salsa.
