Whole30 Meal Delivery Services?

February 19, 2021

Around the new year, the most popular diet that we see, without a doubt, is Whole30. The diehards and Whole30 experts will tell you, Whole30 isn’t really a diet in the traditional sense. It more closely resembles an elimination diet designed to remove commonly inflammatory foods and then slowly reintroduce them, so you can learn which foods work best for you.

And we don’t mean to toot our own horn, but Snap Kitchen has been a Whole30 Approved partner for years for a reason. We’re believers in eating delicious real, whole foods that are designed just for you, and Whole30 is a great pathway to figure that out for yourself. Because honestly, no two bodies are alike.

It’s also why we feature so many Whole30 meals and even have an in-house Whole30 Certified Coach, our dietitian Sam Presicci.

What is Whole30?

Let’s start with the basics. Whole30 is a 30-day nutritional reset that works to eliminate certain inflammatory foods:

  • Gluten and Grains
  • Dairy
  • Soy
  • Legumes
  • Added sugar
  • Alcohol
  • Processed foods
  • And more

The goal is not specifically to lose weight—instead, the goal is to set you on the path toward eating more nutrient-dense, real food that helps you feel awesome.

Once the 30-day reset is complete, that’s when the real fun begins. This phase is called “reintroduction.” And this is the key to understanding which foods don’t jive with your body. Once you slowly start adding foods back in (one day at a time, folks!), then you can see which foods help or add to inflammation, joint pain, weight loss, or energy level.

What’s more, is that Whole30 isn’t designed to be a “forever” thing. That’s why it doesn’t work as a “diet.” Rather, it’s a tool for understanding foods that make you healthy and help feel your best.
