We turn nine on April 22nd, so for the month of April we’re getting back to basics and highlighting what makes Snap, Snap! Integral to our company and our mission is our CEO, Jon Carter. He took the reins this January, but has been with Snap for years, previously serving as Chief Digital Officer. Jon comes from LA & has a background in tech, though health & fitness have always been a focus for him. In fact, he was recruited by Snap while he was working on his own health-related business. We’ve asked Jon what his values are as a CEO & what exactly makes Snap Kitchen stand out among the rest. Here’s what he had to say!
“Transparency is at the heart of everything we do. From the ingredients we source to the products we curate on behalf of our customers, we believe information is power. For so long the food industry has been a confusing place where it is unclear what you are putting into your body, much less what effect if might have on your overall health. With Snap you never have to worry about that.”
“We live in a world today where understanding one another has become rare. In order to connect with people- and help solve their problems- you have to first understand them. We at Snap believe that every healthy interaction begins with empathy.”

“Always do your best. Your best may be different than someone else’s and that’s ok. Our hope is that by always striving to do our best we empower you to do the same.”
And of course, we can’t forget to talk about the food! We love a good #snaphack, so we asked Jon to share his favorite! He loves to keep it simple- pairing our classic bison quinoa hash with the turnip mash or our turkey chili with the beanitos or beanfields chips and some avocado!
